Hippo Love

Over one summer evening at a Finnish-Greek wedding on the Greek coast, two strangers facing breakups are drawn to each other: Touko, a musician whose career has stalled, and Eevis, whose marriage is ending. Touko’s wife Leena, a famous pop singer, is at the wedding too and sees the chemistry between them. Adapted from Emmi-Liia Sjöholm’s novel Virtahevot, it is an adult love story about marriage, parenthood, divorce and desire. Released in Finland as Rakkautta ja virtahepoja.
